Well, my Wolf model isn’t ready yet, so as I said on Twitter, It’ll be a New Year’s giveaway. Don’t worry, I won’t keep pushing it off. I promise.
So this is my 100th post, and I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas (yes, I’m Christian). If you believe in other holidays, then may they be happy and merry and festive, and, er, whatever they need to be to be good.
Anyway, back to the family!

Tons of date ideas, 2 for 1 coupons, discounts, meals, shopping, desserts, rides, attractions, etc. You name it, there’s a coupon for it in this book. Get it while it’s still early in the year to use them up. It will pay for itself within one or two coupons, usually, and there are hundreds!
We’ve had this book in the house for the last 4 years or more – great everytime! We love it.

I try to keep my personal life out of this blog, but, I just thought I’d let you, my readers know, that I will be going in for a colectomy/ileostomy tomorrow to rid my body of ulcerative colitis. It’s been 7 years in the brewing, and 9 months of waiting for this surgery. I plan on being back home within 8 days, and back to work within a week from then (at least part time, as my incision etc will allow – sitting will be painful for a while).
So, keep me in your thoughts, and I’ll be back to work and blogging shortly as well.
I’m selling an HP a6077c dual core (Intel 2.0) 4GB ram 400GB hard drive machine that I used as an extra render node, and will be replacing it with either an Intel q8200 quad core based Machine, or else a dual Xeon (8-core 5540 – 2.26GHz) based machine – I’ll let you know, and do a little write up. Currently, I have a q9550 (2.83) which is overclocked to 3.3, and a q6600 which is overclocked to 2.93. Vista 64 with 6gb ram on the q9550, and XP Pro 32 with 4gb on the q66. The new machine will likely keep Vista 64 when it’s built… but I haven’t decided yet. I need windows to run 3DS Max… wish it was Linux or Mac compatible (without a VM).

I love this little poem.
So Does Bob Proctor – he shared it today.
Lifters and Leaners
There are two kinds of people on earth today
Just two kinds of people, no more I say.
Not the good or the bad, for ’tis well understood
That good are half bad and the bad are half good.
Not the rich or the poor, for to know a man’s wealth
You must first know the state of his conscience and health,
Not the happy or sad, for the swift flying years
Bring to each man his gladness and to each man his tears.
No, the two kinds of people on earth I mean
Are the people who lift and the people who lean,
And wherever you go, you will find the world’s masses
Are always divided into just these two classes;
And oddly enough you will find too, I ween
There is only one lifter to twenty who lean,
In which class are you – are you easing the load
Of the toilsome toiler who toils down the road,
Or are you a leaner, who makes others bear
Your share of the labor and worry and care?

| From Bob Proctor:
Every day you and I are being bombarded with negatives. Politics, prices, the economy, interest rates – you name it, we’re hearing about it … bad news. Supreme mental strength is required to keep your mind on a track that will lead to a positive end result. Now is an excellent time to put your nose into a few history books. You will find the stories of men and women who have continued to win, in spite of what was happening all around them. There have always been personalities who took the economic environment as it existed in their day, and instead of letting it guide their every move, they continued with life as if it had little or no effect on their results. Successful business people have always done that and probably always will. Regardless of what the economic environment was like, some people have figured out how to overcome it. There is, as it turns out, always a way. This optimistic statement seems worth expanding on.
In every era, including our own, people have a tendency to believe that the day of great wealth gathering opportunities are over. For whatever reason, the era that just passed always looks better! People are always blaming circumstances for their results … that high taxes, high prices, high labor costs and numerous other problems are preventing them from making it.
Do as winners have always done and accentuate the positive. Get on the “I can” mental frequency! I love what George Bernard Shaw shared with us on this very subject. Shaw said, “People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances that they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.”
